The Alicia Pueyo Fund is managed according the protocol signed between the promoters of the Fund (Alicia's parents) and the Foundation Sant Joan de Déu, on November 21, 2008.

The protocol has also the approval of Dr. Jaume Mora, chief of the laboratory which funds go to.

Among other things, the protocol states:

- The Fund will be increased by contributions made by the promoters or any other person or company who wants to collaborate.

- The expenses charged to the Fund have to be clearly identified in the Foundation accounting information.

-The promoters of the Fund, the Foundation and the research team will meet once a year in order to discuss the progress made during the last year and to present the proposals for the next one. In addition, a summary about incomes and expenses will have to be prepared.
